A Team Filled With Thankfulness

A Team Filled With Thankfulness

On Thursday, we will be celebrating Thanksgiving. I love this time of year. It’s a chance for all of us to reflect on so much and take a look at all the things we are thankful for.

As a company, we are thankful for our team, partners in the industry, and most of all our clients and friends. You all have given us the opportunity to be a part of your business in one way or another, and for us, that is so special. We are thankful that we get to share our knowledge to help so many of you grow your businesses and most of all grow your people.

This week, everyone on our team would like to share a little of what they are thankful for. From all of us at TrainerTainment, we wish you a happy Thanksgiving!

Beth Standlee

I’m thankful for my family, advances in cancer research and a wonderfully talented caring team.

I am most thankful for my husband, Mister (aka.Rick) We set out on this journey last year to buy bed and breakfast and get it going. We purchased The Front Porch Inn and had worked hard to get it up and to go all while living apart. He makes many weekend trips to help me stay sane, mow the yard, change a light fixture, and to flip the rooms. We have made it work long even with the long distance between us. I know that he is a phone call away with any issues that come up. I am thankful he was willing to come along on my wild ride of leaving the metroplex so I could be closer to the kids and grandkids. I am thankful for Mister.

I’m thankful that we have been back home for a year now and have been able to spend time with our family! Both sides of our family have been through so much, and we are just happy that we have been able to be here to love on each other and be a support for them. It’s been quite the learning curve being home again, but our boys are doing great in school, making friends and are becoming such wonderful boys. We all realize how blessed we all are.

Barbara Flynn

I am thankful for good health and for the continued passion for what I do every day. It keeps me motivated and looking forward to every day.

This year, I am thankful for many things including my children, my career, and my friends but I’d like to acknowledge my mother.

My mother is a lover. She is a lover of everything. She sees everyone as beautiful until they show her otherwise. She trusts, and when she is let down, she is truly heartbroken.

My mom is beautiful inside and out, though she has never thought of herself that way. She is humble. She wants to help everyone, even if it means inconveniencing herself. Even while battling Cancer (both times) she would try to help others. I sometimes get on her for this because I want her to take care of herself more. However, I do the same thing, and she gets on me, too.

My mom is a caregiver. She took care of my father who battled Multiple Sclerosis for many years before his death in 2015. She lives with and takes care of my older sister, who has Down Syndrome. I really should say they take care of each other because they do. She is a retired teacher, who still has students reach out to thank her. She takes care of my children, my family, my little sister’s family, and of course, me.

My mom is my rock and my hero. We moved from Kansas to Texas this year, and I miss her so much. I am still trying to convince her to move down here!

I know I can be a tough cookie, being the middle child and all, but she has stuck with me.

So, this year, and every year, I am thankful for my mom. You have taught me to love, to trust, to believe in the goodness of people first.

Mom, you are wonderful in every way. I love you! Thank you for everything!

I’m thankful for the health of my family and me. It’s been a rough year, we have all had surgery, and truly thankful for our outcomes. Also, for my husband and our 30-year marriage. Life is hard, do it with someone who will be at your side every step of the way.

Amy Madson

My hubby, family and friends and my kitties are top of the list. Having the means and ability to explore the world and experience new things is a close second.

Janice Jokkel

My Faith, Family, and Friends for sure! This has been a year of change and growth for me, and without all three pieces in my life, the changes would have been a whole lot harder.

Marlies McKie

Plentiful opportunities to learn and to grow, becoming better in what I do, and in turn, being able to assist better my CEO’s and the teams with the workload they have on their plates.

J Brock

This is always a tough part for me, but considering what my family, and the Trainertainment team and their families, have experienced health-wise this year, I am thankful that we are on the mend and headed towards better health. I’m also thankful for our team and the support we have for each other.
